Job Opportunity: Line Cook at Clarendale at Indian Lake

We are recruiting a hospitality-focused Cook responsible for full-scope, hands-on production cooking within our Community Culinary Services Department. The role involves maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, operating in a restaurant-style environment with POS systems for meal orders. Meals are prepared and sent to the expo server for delivery to residents. We invite passionate individuals to apply and join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities of a Cook
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization standards at all times.
  • Ensure food quality, appearance, and presentation meet standards.
  • Prepare and serve menu cycles compliant with nutritional and dietary regulations, including special diets as per policies.
  • Cook efficiently, accurately, and quickly.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of cooking preparation and production.
  • Assist with meal service and ware washing as needed.
  • Periodically visit residents to evaluate food quality, temperature, and presentation, making operational adjustments as necessary.
  • Represent the community warmly, creating a positive environment that supports marketing efforts.
  • Support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive revenue and occupancy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • Culinary degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in restaurant, senior living, or equivalent cooking environment.
  • Availability for some weekends.
  • Must pass drug screening, TB test, and background check.

Position: Line Cook

Full-time, 35-40 hours per week

Wage: $17-$19/hour, depending on experience

Benefits include paid time off, full-time benefits, and a $1000 sign-on bonus.
