Line Cook

We are on the hunt for an experienced line cook to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the exact specifications.

You will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Line Cook Responsibilities:

· Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.

· Preparing, stocking and maintaining your station with all mise en place.

· Communicating with the Chef/Sous Chef/Manager any items that are low.

· Making sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.

· Be able to work from a prep list and follow recipes to ensure a consistently excellent product.

· Stocking inventory and supplies.

· Cooking menu items to exact standards and being able to time it with the entire kitchen staff.

Line Cook Requirements:

· Previous experience in a “from scratch” Chef driven restaurant.

· Basic knife skills

· Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, in English.

· Basic understanding of standard kitchen equipment

· Be a team player. We cannot succeed by ourselves.

· Experience making fresh cheeses such mozzarella and ricotta is a plus.
