Join Our Culinary Team! Calling Experienced Line Cooks -FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE! The Farmhouse Restaurant, located inside The Barn Resort is hiring experienced and passionate chefs/culinarians/cooks who are seeking opportunities to take their culinary skills to the next level. We're on the lookout for dedicated Line Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team and be a crucial part of our exciting culinary journey!

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and a strong understanding of food safety practices.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality during busy services.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Passion for culinary innovation and a desire to contribute to a unique and memorable dining experience.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and its equipment
  • Comply with all food‑handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines as provided
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working cooperatively with staff and guests

Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • 3+ years working knowledge of kitchen equipment and its proper usage is preferred
  • ServSafe® Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
  • Willingness to learn and follow the direction of the Kitchen and General managers and be a team player
  • 3+ years previous experience as a cook is preferred. Experience in catering, buffet, and/or full‑menu dining is a plus.
Work Environment
  • Operates in a kitchen/prep area environment
  • Moderate to loud noise
  • Frequent exposure to variable temperature changes and steam
Physical Demands
  • Ability to Bend, Squat, Run & Physically React in a Prompt Manner
  • Ability to use hands and fingers in grasping, pinching, chopping, pulling, and lifting motions associated with preparing and cooking products using knives, utensils and cookware
  • Ability to Lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for very long periods of time
