Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Cook to support Executive and Sous Chefs in delivering the property's culinary program, including restaurant, catering, and events. You will maintain a clean, organized kitchen and train co-workers as needed.

Compensation ranges from $21 to $27 per hour. Schedule is 10am–6pm, weekends included, with full-time benefits and eligibility for company programs. Travel may be required for training and events.

Qualifications

  • GED or high school diploma is required.
  • At least 1 year kitchen experience.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
  • Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
  • Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.
  • Package take-out foods and/or serve food to customers.
  • Portion and wrap the food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons.
  • Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service or store them in refrigerated storage cabinets.
  • Other duties as required.

Job Overview

Schedule

10am - 6pm, including weekends & based on operations needs

Your Responsibilities
