Job summary

Emerson Lakes by Erickson Senior Living in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, is seeking a Line Cook to contribute to our Signature Dining Programs, crafting chef-inspired dishes for the grand opening of on-site dining venues.

The role requires 1 year of cook-to-order experience, weekend availability, the ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varied temperatures. We offer medical/dental/vision benefits, a 30% dining discount, 401(k) with 3% match, PTO, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation of meals.
• Utilize your culinary skills to create high-quality dishes that enhance resident satisfaction.
• Keep the kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized at all times.

Join our team as a Line Cook if you're passionate about great food, teamwork, and have culinary experience. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to our innovative Signature Dining Programs, engaging in a la minute cooking and crafting chef-inspired dishes and will play a critical role in the grand opening of the on-site dining venues at Emerson Lakes, one of Erickson Senior Living’s most anticipated new communities in beautiful Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Emerson Lakes will be a premier, state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community designed to serve more than 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. This gated community will feature an impressive array of amenities, including multiple restaurants, a stunning outdoor swimming pool, a cutting-edge fitness center, an onsite medical center, and much more.

• Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $20.50 per hour.
