30hop Restaurant & Bar in Coralville, IA is seeking a part-time Line Cook to join our BOH team. You will prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and help keep the kitchen stocked and organized during daily service.

You’ll work with grills, fryers, sauté stations, and other kitchen equipment, maintain quality standards, and communicate with kitchen leaders to support a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Able to stand, move for extended periods, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and recipes for daily service.
• Set up and maintain a stocked, organized workstation.
• Prepare menu items using grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and established quality standards.
• Rotate, label, store, and handle food properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift.
• Communicate with kitchen leaders during service.
• Assist with prep and line responsibilities as needed.

30hop Restaurant & Bar in Coralville, IA is looking for Line Cooks to join our BOH team!

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, staying busy, and being part of a team, we’d love to hear from you. Our Cooks help keep the kitchen running smoothly by preparing fresh ingredients, cooking menu items, and making sure every plate meets our standards.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Pay

$16 - $22 per hour, based on experience.

Hours & Scheduling

• Part-time position
• Weekend morning availability is required

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients and recipes for daily service
• Set up and maintain a stocked, organized workstation
• Prepare menu items using grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and established quality standards
• Rotate, label, store, and handle food properly
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift
• Complete cleaning, stocking, inventory, and food-storage tasks as assigned
• Communicate with kitchen leaders and other team members during service
• Assist with both prep and line responsibilities based on the needs of the kitchen
• Complete other duties as assigned

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
• Comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented environment
• Reliable and ready to contribute each shift
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Willing to learn, take direction, and help where needed

• Able to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
