This range is provided by Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$11.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Position: Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member)

Objective: To prepare high-quality, visually appealing food to delight our guests. You will handle assigned prep work, operate your station, and work across kitchen roles as part of our team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare menu items according to recipes and standards (50%).
  2. Complete assigned prep work (15%).
  3. Set up and maintain your workstation (15%).
  4. Practice safe and sanitary food handling (10%).
  5. Clean and sanitize your work area (5%).
  6. Assist with cleaning projects as assigned (5%).
Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to handle kitchen equipment and move items safely.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
Physical Requirements:

Must navigate the restaurant, handle items up to 5 pounds regularly, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and bend or stoop as needed. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
