Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short preparation time. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service. Maintains records from the area worked during service periods.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure proper quality, temperature, and portion control.
5. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Stores foods properly, following wrapping, dating, and safety procedures.
7. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant issues to the supervisor.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs duties safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
