Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a dependable, hardworking part-time Line Cook to join a fast-paced luncheon restaurant. This role focuses on preparing fresh ingredients, maintaining a clean kitchen, and contributing to timely, quality meals for guests.

You will follow recipes, stock supplies, and ensure food safety standards while supporting the kitchen team during busy lunch periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or food prep preferred but training available.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable with good attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients (vegetables, meats, cheeses, sauces) and follow recipes.
• Assist with assembling menu items during lunch service.
• Stock and organize food items and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment.
• Rotate inventory and label/store food properly.
• Follow food safety and health department regulations.
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.

Position Summary

As a Line Cook, you'll play a key role in preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and helping ensure every meal is served fresh and on time. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help create an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients including vegetables, meats, cheeses, and sauces.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately.
• Assist with assembling menu items during lunch service.
• Stock and organize food items and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Rotate inventory and properly label and store food.
• Follow all food safety and health department regulations.
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as needed.
• Work efficiently with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
