Job summary

Major Food Group LLC is seeking experienced Line Cooks for Chateau ZZ's in Miami, a historic manor on Brickell Avenue. Chateau ZZ's is Major Food Group's first-ever Mexican restaurant, offering old-world charm with modern luxury and a vibrant bar and solarium.

As a Line Cook you will set up stations, prepare ingredients, and cook items to high standards in a fast-paced, fine dining setting, following executive and sous chef instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred.
• Team-orientated and positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.

This fine dining concept is hiring experienced Line Cookswith a strong work ethic to help set and maintain the highest standards of cuisine and professionalism.
