Hourly Wage

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are approximately 5:30 am - 2:30 pm, Mon-Fri.

Key Purpose

The Cook will accurately and efficiently fulfill prep lists, tasks, and food preparation for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events. Responsibilities may vary depending on business needs and client requirements.

Success Criteria

• Ensure kitchen organization and cleanliness, providing a safe environment for all employees and guests.
• Follow workplace safety, food safety, HACCP, and internal audit guidelines daily.
• Work safely with culinary equipment such as slicers, mixers, food processors, blenders, and choppers.
• Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or equivalent education.

Key Accountabilities

• Clock in/out for work and breaks.
• Provide high-quality service according to standards.
• Use proper food preparation procedures following regulations.
• Perform cooking and prep techniques as assigned.
• Prepare food items as directed by recipes and chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Report ingredient discrepancies or safety issues to management.
• Attend all scheduled meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Reach, bend, lift up to 35 pounds, and work under pressure during peak times.
