Job Title

Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member)

Role Overview

To love people by preparing great tasting and visually appealing food. You will handle your assigned prep work and cook’s station, maintaining high standards for product presentation, quality, and cook times. You will learn to prepare all menu items according to recipes and specifications, and will be cross-trained in all kitchen roles as part of the Kitchen Team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare menu items according to recipes and standards (50%).
  2. Complete all assigned prep work (15%).
  3. Set up workstation according to station diagram (15%).
  4. Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times (10%).
  5. Clean and sanitize the work area before, during, and after shifts (5%).
  6. Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects (5%).
Qualifications
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to handle plates, utensils, and equipment.
  • Good reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to use knives, slicing, and food prep equipment safely.
  • Mobility throughout the shift.
  • Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds, up to 20 times daily.
  • Respond appropriately in emergency situations to ensure safety.
Physical Requirements

This role involves navigating the restaurant, moving items up to five pounds regularly, occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending or stooping as needed. Adequate vision is required to assess cleanliness and operate a touchscreen. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
