Job summary

Spire Hospitality, The Redmont Hotel in Birmingham, is seeking a part-time cook to join our Food & Beverage - Culinary team. You will craft dishes to standard recipes and ensure proper storage, portion control, and cleanliness from kitchen to dining area.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of cook experience in a hotel or similar setting, and a Managers Food Handlers Certification. This role offers flexible hours, hotel perks, and opportunities to grow within our hospitality

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year cook experience in hotel preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year cook experience in a similar role, size of operation required
• Management Certification: Managers Food Handlers Certification required

• Ensures meticulous product storage and precise portion control for each dish

As a cook, you will deliver exceptional Guest Services as part of our Food & Beverage - Culinary team, responsible for all food preparation at the hotel. The Culinary team will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by crafting unparalleled experiences from the moment guests enter the dining area. Physical Demands

Qualifications

Education

• Completion of Culinary or Apprenticeship Program preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year cook experience in hotel preferred
• Minimum of 1 year cook experience in a similar role, size of operation required
• Managers Food Handlers Certification required
