Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality's The Redmont in Birmingham seeks a part-time Breakfast Food Server for morning shift. You will deliver food and beverages with a smile, engage guests and support the restaurant team in a fast-paced setting.

Required: high school diploma, 1 year server experience, Alcohol Beverage Server Certification, Food Handlers Certification. Benefits include early pay, matched 401(k), life insurance, and hotel discounts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best‑in‑class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Take and deliver guests' food and beverage orders with enthusiasm, regularly revisit table to ensure beverages are filled and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Generate checks through PMS and receive payments efficiently for each guest.
• Maintain daily organization of the restaurant, ensuring all condiments and supplies are replenished.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver best‑in‑class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness

Physical Demands

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 - 75 lbs
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurants and kitchen areas

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
• Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
• Food Handlers Certification required
