Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced line cook to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Our busy restaurant requires a team player who can prepare meals accurately according to guest orders and standard recipes, while maintaining efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate should be skilled in poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, and frying, and capable of working at various stations during a shift. Effective communication with kitchen staff and a positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare menu items by grilling, broiling, or sautéing according to recipes and presentation standards.
2. Set up and organize cooking stations with necessary preparation items for each shift.
3. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, equipment, and refrigerators following health and safety regulations.
4. Ensure food quality by adhering to proper storage and waste management procedures.
5. Communicate professionally with visitors, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

• Hardworking, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, safety procedures, equipment use, and food storage.
• Previous experience in food service preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
