Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an Experienced Line Clearance Trimmer to service Guernsey and Tuscarawas County, Ohio regions including Cambridge, Dover and New Philadelphia. The role requires outdoor work, climbing, and safe operation of professional tree care equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license required.
• CDL Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement preferred.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree orientation and safety courses on hire.
• Experience in line clearance or related tree work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
• Prune and remove trees for major electric utility providers.
• Remove broken limbs from lines, roofs, and objects.
• Identify trees and follow pruning guidelines per industry standards.
• Maintain and operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and related tools.
• Work as a crew member with foreperson and ground crew.
