Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an Experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson to lead a 2–5 person tree crew in Cambridge, OH and surrounding Guernsey and Tuscarawas counties. CDL preferred; prior line clearance experience a plus.

You will manage pruning, removal, and safety, mentor teammates, and ensure equipment is maintained. We offer hourly pay ($25.00–$26.00), strong benefits, 401k, stock purchase plan, and day-one eligibility.

Qualifications

• Lead a 2-5 person tree crew in pruning and removal tasks to meet utility standards.
• Pass Davey Tree Orientation Program upon hire.
• Pass Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving courses upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Line clearance experience or related tree work preferred.
• Relevant pesticide/licenses/certificates as state law requires.
• ISA/TCIA certifications welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a 2–5 person crew in pruning and removal tasks.
• Perform job-site inspections with proper planning and execution of assigned work.
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate tools and equipment (chainsaws, chippers, lifts).
• Mentor and develop new employees to uphold safety and quality standards.
