Job summary

Davey Tree Surgery Co. is seeking an experienced Line Clearance Trimmer to join our utility service team in Springfield, Ohio.

This role offers climbing with DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems, safe operation of chainsaws, lifts, and related equipment, and collaboration with a ground crew and foreperson. The position is full-time, on-site, with an hourly pay range of $20.28–$23.52, plus comprehensive benefits including health, life, 401(k) and scholarships.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license.
• CDL-A or B with Air Brake Endorsement preferred.
• Line clearance experience or related tree work preferred.
• ISA/TCIA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning and removal for utility providers.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged limbs.
• Remove limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other structures.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and related equipment safely.
• Collaborate with ground crew and foreperson to complete jobs.
• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS climbing systems.
