Zusammenfassung

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Cuyahoga Falls, OH is seeking an experienced Trimmer to join our utility line clearance team. Climbing experience is preferred, and a CDL is advantageous; the role is based on-site in Cuyahoga Falls with additional location in Hudson, OH.

You will support pruning and removal work for electric utilities, operate chainsaws and lifts, and collaborate with a crew to safely complete projects. Growth opportunities are available within Davey’s extensive network.

Qualifikationen

• Must love the outdoors.
• Must be able to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program on hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.
• Preferred: ISA/TCIA certifications.

Position Overview

Davey Utility Line Clearance, a division of The Davey Tree Expert Company, is pleased to offer a key opportunity as an experienced Trimmer, preferably with climbing experience and/or a CDL, to join our team servicing the city of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Job Duties

• Climb Trees! Davey offers both DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems
• Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for major electric utility providers. Including but not limited to:
• Pruning treetops and repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• Application of tree identification knowledge and industry pruning guidelines
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more
• Operate as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and foreperson
