Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to safely operate heavy equipment and remove branches from electrical lines. The role includes transporting equipment across multiple states and performing routine maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver license, with the ability to work around hazardous equipment in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
• Must possess a valid driver license.
• Familiarity with safety protocols around heavy machinery and electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transports equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Gathers brush and feeds into wood chipper; applies herbicides per safety guidelines.
• Maintains equipment in safe, clean mechanical order and performs routine servicing.
