The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking an Experienced Line Clearance Foreman/Foreperson to lead a 2-5 person crew in Clintonville and Harrisville, PA. This on-site role focuses on pruning and removal for major electric utilities, with CDL preferred.

Hourly pay ranges from $27.71 to $29.51 plus benefits including health plans, 401(k) with company match, stock plan, scholarships and paid time off. Year-round opportunities, safety training, and employee development are emphasized.

• Requires outdoor work readiness and ability to complete Davey Tree Orientation Program on hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.
• Required: valid driver’s license; Preferred: CDL-A/B with Air Brake Endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Required: line clearance experience or related tree work.
• Preferred: ISA/TCIA tree safety certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a 2-5 person tree crew to prune and remove for major electric utilities, safely and skillfully.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged trees; trim or remove as needed.
• Remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs and other objects.
• Apply tree identification knowledge and pruning guidelines.
• Conduct job-site planning and execute assigned tasks.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers and aerial lifts.
• Mentor and train new employees.

Job Duties

Lead a 2-5 person tree crew in performing all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for major electric utility providers. Including but not limited to:

• Pruning treetops, repairing damaged trees by trimming or removal
• Removing broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• Application of tree identification knowledge and industry pruning guidelines
• Perform job-site inspections with proper planning and execution of assigned work and tasks
• Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
• Mentor and train new employees

Qualifications

What We’re Seeking:

• Love of the outdoors
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Required: valid driver’s license
• Preferred: Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement or willingness to obtain
• Required: line clearance experience or other related tree work
• Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist®, ISA Certified Tree Worker®, and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
