Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a capable maintenance technician to lead tooling changes and die-set operations on the production line. The role covers line setup, machine operation, and adjustments during changeovers to keep production flowing efficiently.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in maintenance and 1 year in manufacturing, with preferred hydraulic training and crane certification. Willingness to work extended hours and maintain safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 3 years maintenance experience.
• 1 year manufacturing experience; press experience strongly preferred.
• Hydraulic training strongly preferred.
• Crane certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily line die sets and tool changes are sufficient to meet production requirements.
• Review schedules and requirements for each production line.
• Communicate with shift leaders on schedule and changeover status.
• Notify of unplanned downtime or risk of missing schedule.
• Coordinate line changes for maximum effectiveness.
• Change out dies and related components for line/machine changeovers.
• Machine setup after die change as needed.
• Provide production support as needed.
• Die shop support including transport and staging of tools.
• Maintain 6S standards in all equipment areas.
• Work on other shifts for training when required.
• Report unsafe acts or conditions.
