Job summary

Lydech Thermal Acoustic Solutions (TAS) in North Carolina seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support line changeovers, die sets, and tooling changes on a manufacturing production line. You will ensure safe, timely, and efficient transitions, perform line set-ups, machine adjustments, and provide die shop and production support as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 3 years of maintenance experience, 1 year of manufacturing/press experience, and hydraulic training;

Qualifications

• High School, GED or equivalent required.
• 3 years maintenance experience.
• 1 year manufacturing experience—press experience strongly preferred.
• Hydraulic training preferred.
• Crane certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily line die sets and tool changes meet production requirements.
• Review schedules and requirements for each production line.
• Communicate status and priorities to shift leaders and managers.
• Notify leads of unplanned downtime or risk to schedules.
• Coordinate line changes and die sets at shift start-up for maximum effectiveness.
• Change out dies and related components as needed for line/machine changeovers.
• Provide production support, including machine operation and adjustments.
• Support die shop transport and staging, and cleaning of tools.
• Maintain 6S standards in all areas under maintenance.
