Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a manufacturing maintenance professional to manage die changes and setup downstream equipment for pipe production. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of extrusion experience or 3+ years in industrial maintenance, to join a large North American PVC pipe and fittings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 2 years in extrusion or 3+ years in industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Make all die changes.
• Set up downstream equipment for size pipe to be run.
• Purge machines for changeover.
• Cut and build plugs.
• Cut rubber for tanks and bellers.
• Build heads.
• Pre-heat tooling.
• Ensure downstream equipment is in proper working order.
• Maintain tooling and supplies inventory.
• Electrically wire all heads.
• Train production team members.
• Be available for occasional unscheduled overtime.
