Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a Shop Welder Tech 3 (Line Bore) to perform complex welding repairs, fabrication and line boring on heavy equipment in a shop setting. You will work with FCAW and SMAW processes and read blueprints to remove and install components, including undercarriage as required.

The role requires high attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and willingness to train others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding training preferred.
• Three years welding/fabrication experience required.
• Ability to perform FCAW & SMAW in all positions and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex welding repairs and fabrication on heavy equipment.
• Perform line boring and advanced torch work per specs.
• Order parts, inspect work, and document service reports.
