Job summary

HOLT Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Welder 2 to perform moderate welding fabrications, interpret drawings, and adhere to standard work. The role supports the machine division, uses various welding processes, and contributes to quality and on-time production.

The position requires two to four years of experience, basic welding certifications in GMAW/FCAW/SMAW, and a commitment to safety and continuous learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two+ years of related welding experience preferred; four+ years is a plus.
• Basic welding certifications in GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW in the 1-3 G/F positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tack weld, stitch weld and weld subassemblies using various tools and fixtures.
• Interpret blueprints/drawings and welding symbols to complete work orders.
• Ensure weldments comply with welding codes, procedures and quality standards.
• Operate oxy/acetylene torch and plasma cutting as needed for fabrication.
• Maintain equipment and work area, follow SOPs and safety policies.
