HOLT CAT in San Antonio is seeking a Shop Welder Tech 3 to perform complex welding repairs and fabrication on heavy construction equipment. Work from blueprints, perform line boring, and install components with supervision in a Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm shop setting in San Antonio, TX.

The role requires SMAW/FCAW welding capability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Three years' heavy equipment welding experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform line boring.
• Must pass welding certifications (SMAW 3G/4G preferred).

Responsabilités

• Execute complicated repairs, fabrication, and welding on heavy equipment.
• Perform line boring and component removal/installation.
• Maintain shop safety and clean workspace.
