Job summary

Schwan's Company in a food manufacturing environment is seeking team members for production roles. You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products and package finished goods while maintaining quality standards.

This full-time position offers diverse responsibilities and opportunities for advancement across popular brand lines. You will inspect products, document waste, and notify supervision of any quality or equipment issues, all while complying with GMP, safety and regulatory

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and document waste amounts as directed; rework or discard as needed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient problems and equipment breakdowns.
• Adhere to USDA, OSHA, state, federal and company policies including GMP and safety rules.

Starting Pay: $17.25 per hour
Additional $1.50 shift differential from 6 p.m. -- 6 a.m.

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
