Job summary

Schwan's Company in Oklahoma is seeking a production worker for the 1st shift (5a-2:30p). Starting pay is $17.25 per hour. You will unpack materials, mix ingredients, assemble products and package finished goods in a food manufacturing environment.

You will ensure product quality, inspect outputs, document waste, and report issues while adhering to USDA/OSHA and GMP guidelines. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401(k) with company match, and health, dental, vision plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of repetitive motions.
• Adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throw out or fix as directed; record waste amounts.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues or equipment problems.
• Operate in compliance with USDA, OSHA, GMPs and safety regulations.

What You Will Do:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).
