Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an assembler for Staunton, VA. The role involves reading blueprints and routing sheets, assembling components, testing and moving products, and documenting quality checks. You will use measuring devices and hand tools in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate can read/write in English, lift and move materials, and stand for long periods. High school diploma or GED is required, with preference for related production experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, or pull materials and stand for long periods in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience using hand tools for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, schematics, bills of materials, routing sheets, and other instructions.
• Operate tools and equipment to assemble, test, and move components and final product.
• Use measuring and testing devices and perform visual inspections to ensure quality.
• Complete records and data entry in electronic systems.
• Report line issues and maintain safe operation of equipment.
