Job summary

Currie Motors is seeking an experienced Service Technician with luxury vehicle experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will hold ASE and Ford certifications and have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing advanced vehicle systems.

The role involves performing work on repair orders, test-driving vehicles, and communicating with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and time estimates. Ford dealership experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification required.
• Ford Certification
• Previous Ford dealership experience preferred.
• Experience with luxury vehicles preferred.
• B level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about necessary additional work and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required

• Ford Certification

• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred

• Previous experience working with luxury vehicles is preferred

• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair

• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve

• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively

• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
