Job summary

Urgent Team in the Greater Knoxville area is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. You will perform x-ray testing, manage patient positioning, and operate diagnostic equipment in a community-focused setting.

This role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with providers. A current TN X-Ray license and BLS are required, with ARRT certification preferred; prior medical assistant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients to next steps.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and seek help in emergencies.
• Perform follow-up calls with urgency and assist front desk as needed.
• Document patient information, vitals, history, medications and allergies.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Maintain documentation per policy and ensure accurate radiology reports.
• Keep equipment in working order and report malfunctions to the manager.
