Job summary

Urgent Team in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant who will perform x-ray testing, handle radiology procedures, and support the provider with patient care and documentation.

Required are a high school diploma, BLS, and AR state X-ray license; ARRT certification is preferred. This is a full-time position with rotating shifts and comprehensive benefits. Competitive salary and PTO offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• AR State X-Ray License is required.
• ARRT Certification is preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in/out procedures.
• Record vital signs, history, medications, allergies and other pertinent information.
• Perform radiology procedures and ensure room readiness and safety.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Complete documentation related to patient visits and care.
