Job summary

Urgent Team in the Greater Knoxville area is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team.

You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, assist with patient care, document histories, and maintain safety standards while supporting front desk and clinical staff. This role requires BLS, AR state X-ray license, and ARRT certification preferred; prior Medical Assistant experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• AR State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting area, exam room or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and direct to next steps in treatment.
• Assist with patient transfers and documentation.
• Perform radiology procedures and ensure patient safety and shielding.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor.
