Job summary

Physicians Care in East Ridge, TN is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. This full-time role performs x-ray testing, operates diagnostic equipment, develops film, and supports Medical Assistant duties.

You will work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule with 12-hour shifts and every-other weekend; a sign-on bonus up to $3,500 is offered for full-time openings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• TN State X-Ray License is required.
• ARRT Certification is preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in the waiting area or exam room.
• Communicate wait times clearly and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Assist with patient transfers and with procedures supervised by the provider.
• Document vital signs, history, medications, allergies, and other pertinent information.
• Perform quality radiology procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to the manager or on-duty provider.
