Job summary

Urgent Team is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our Greater Knoxville team. The role involves performing x-ray testing, operating diagnostic equipment, developing film, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties.

The schedule is a rotating 36-40 hour work week with 12-hour shifts and every-other weekend. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, TN State X-Ray License, and ARRT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification is required.
• Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• TN State X-Ray License required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and coordinate with them through exam process.
• Explain wait times and guide patients to the next step in treatment.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision.
• Document vital signs, history, medications and allergies accurately.
• Maintain radiology equipment and ensure safety and shielding procedures are followed.
