Job summary

RealAmerica Development is seeking a Part-Time Apartment Property Manager in Elkhart, IN. The PM will maximize occupancy, control expenses, collect rent, and ensure resident satisfaction while adhering to LIHTC/HUD guidelines and company policies.

Responsibilities include leasing, budget management, staff supervision, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A college degree or commensurate affordable housing management experience is required, along with valid driver’s license and background check

Qualifications

• Experience in LIHTC, HUD and market rate projects.
• Ability to budget, manage revenue and control expenses.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections of property and adherence to policies.
• Lease apartments to prospective residents and process applications.
• Develop tenant retention strategies and manage budgets.
• Supervise property staff and coordinate with contractors.
• Provide training and support to staff to ensure efficient operation.
