Job summary

J & M Property Management seeks an experienced Property Manager specializing in LIHTC/Section 42 communities. The role covers day-to-day operations, compliance, leasing, occupancy, and resident relations across affordable housing properties.

The ideal candidate partners with Compliance to ensure accurate applicant files, certifications, and timely recertifications while coordinating maintenance, audits, and vendor management. HOME/HUD/Section 8 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily property management experience preferred.
• LIHTC/Section 42 experience and compliance knowledge required.
• Working knowledge of affordable housing eligibility, certifications, and recertifications.
• Strong computer and property management software skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LIHTC/Section 42 compliance and occupancy requirements.
• Manage leasing, applications, certifications, and recertifications.
• Monitor rent collection, financials, and budget-to-actual performance.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor management, and audits.
• Supervise leasing/administrative staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
