Job summary

The Franklin Group seeks a detail-oriented Property Compliance Manager to oversee LIHTC and HUD program compliance across our Washington, DC properties. You will implement programs, perform audits, and train staff to ensure accurate regulatory adherence.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in affordable housing compliance, CAM/HCCP or equivalent, and strong Excel/SharePoint skills. Travel for site visits and audits will be required as part of this critical role.

Qualifications

• HCCP Certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in affordable housing compliance.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and HUD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee compliance programs related to LIHTC and HUD regulations.
• Conduct initial lease-ups and ensure ongoing compliance with program requirements.
• Perform regular internal audits to verify adherence to regulatory standards.
• Review and understand various documents for verification purposes.
• Provide training to staff on compliance expectations and matters.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure organization-wide compliance.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to Owners, Investors, and Regulatory agencies.
• Stay updated on changes in housing regulations, especially LIHTC and HUD.
