Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee LIHTC/HUD compliance across our properties. You will coordinate with on-site and corporate teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met and improvements are implemented.

The role requires 1–2 years of LIHTC experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to train staff, conduct audits, and communicate with authorities. AMC offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years on-site or compliance experience processing LIHTC (Section 42) cert paperwork.
• Experience with HUD, Section 8, 202, and/or 811 programs.
• Knowledge of LIHTC certification paperwork.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication with employees, properties, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Work with on-site and corporate staff to ensure regulatory compliance with housing programs.
• Travel as needed based on business needs.
• Perform audits and implement solutions.
• Provide administrative support, including data entry into compliance systems, filing, and file maintenance.
• Conduct ongoing training for on-site staff on LIHTC, Fair Housing, and related procedures.
• Assist in Mass Recertifications, Re-syndication, Lease ups, and acquisitions.
• Review property management software data for accuracy.
• Ensure correct 60/50% Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA unit allocations.
