Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Compliance Specialist to oversee LIHTC/HUD regulatory requirements and ensure program adherence across multiple properties. The role involves coordinating with on-site and corporate staff, performing audits, and maintaining accurate compliance data and reporting.

The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective communication with housing authorities and state agencies.

Qualifications

• Compliance experience with LIHTC (Section 42).
• Experience with HUD, Section 8, and related affordable housing programs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance with LIHTC/HUD programs.
• Coordinate audits with on-site and corporate staff.
• Perform audits and implement solutions.
• Maintain compliance data entry and reporting systems.
• Process move-in and re-certification commissions.
• Communicate with Local Housing Authority and State Agencies.
• Assist in mass recertifications, re-syndication, lease-ups, and acquisitions.
• Verify data in property management software and unit compliance Mix.
