Job summary

TEDc is seeking a Development Manager for Affordable Housing (LIHTC) in Miami, FL. The role oversees multiple LIHTC projects from predevelopment through stabilization, coordinating banking, entitlements, and regulatory compliance across Florida and the Southeast.

You will manage due diligence, finance structuring, and investor presentations, traveling regionally as needed while driving timely project milestones and community impacts.

Qualifications

• LIHTC experience and knowledge of affordable/workforce housing development.
• Experience with LIHTC applications, compliance, and financing structures.
• Strong financial analytical and modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day tasks across multiple development projects from predevelopment through stabilization.
• Prepare and support LIHTC applications (9% and 4%/bond) and coordinate with state housing finance agencies.
• Conduct due diligence including market research, financial feasibility, zoning analysis, and site assessments.
• Structure and help close financing including LIHTC equity, HOME, Surtax, bond financing, HUD programs, and other gap funding sources.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to produce and review design documents.
• Assist in securing project entitlements, permits, and approvals from local jurisdictions.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, development schedules, and compliance timelines.
