Job summary

Tacolcy Economic Development Corporation (TEDc) in Miami, FL, is hiring a Development Manager for affordable housing projects under LIHTC. You will oversee predevelopment through stabilization across Florida and the Southeast, coordinating with finance agencies, architects, and legal teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of LIHTC and affordable housing experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• LIHTC experience required and knowledge of affordable/workforce housing financing structures
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in related field
• Experience with LIHTC applications, compliance, and financing structures is essential

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day tasks across multiple affordable housing development projects from predevelopment through stabilization
• Prepare and support LIHTC applications (9% and 4%/bond) and coordinate with state housing finance agencies
• Conduct due diligence including market research, financial feasibility, zoning analysis, and site assessments
• Structure and help close LIHTC equity, HOME, Surtax, bond financing, HUD programs, and other gap funding sources
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to produce and review design documents
• Assist in securing project entitlements, permits, and approvals from local jurisdictions
• Prepare and manage project budgets, development schedules, and compliance timelines
• Collaborate with legal, asset management, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare investor, lender, and syndicator presentations, internal memos, and board updates
• Represent the company in community meetings, public hearings, and with local stakeholders as needed
• Monitor construction progress, change orders, and draw requests with project management staff
• Support ongoing compliance with LIHTC, HOME, and other program requirements through placed-in-service and beyond
