Job summary

RHF seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support ground-up development and rehabilitation projects from site acquisition through construction and transition to operations.

You will assist with due diligence, budgeting, scheduling, and documentation while coordinating with the VP of Acquisitions and Development, PMs, and external partners. A 2–3 year track record in affordable housing and LIHTC is preferred, with flexibility to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in affordable housing development, LIHTC, or related field.
• Basic understanding of LIHTC and HUD financing programs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate land and property acquisition for development opportunities.
• Assist due diligence, budgeting, schedules, and project tracking.
• Support entitlement, permitting, and internal approvals processes.
• Prepare and review due diligence reports and consultant deliverables.
• Assist with funding applications and relationships with Finance.
• Travel to project sites, meetings, and conferences as required.
• Prepare status reports and maintain project documentation.
