Leoforce is seeking a Compliance Specialist with deep LIHTC experience to join a growing affordable housing team. The role focuses on thorough file reviews, regulatory interpretations, and proactive collaboration with property teams to ensure ongoing LIHTC compliance across multiple properties.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in LIHTC compliance, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage numerous complex files while effectively communicating findings and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on affordable housing compliance experience, with LIHTC focus.
• Experience reviewing move-in certifications and recertifications.
• Understanding of income limits, rent limits, and affordability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review LIHTC income, eligibility, and documentation in applicant/resident files.
• Audit resident files for accuracy and completeness and communicate deficiencies.
• Interpret LURAs and other regulatory agreements and apply requirements to files.
• Monitor ongoing LIHTC compliance across a multi-site portfolio and support state reviews.
• Assist with preparation for regulatory audits, monitoring visits, and internal reviews.
