Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist to review housing applications and ensure eligibility and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on LIHTC and TDHCA requirements, with significant travel and adherence to company procedures.

The position emphasizes timely file reviews, ongoing training (HCCP), and coordination with tax credit reviews while leveraging RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with RealPage Onesite Tax Credit software.
• HUD program knowledge is a plus.
• HCCP certification preferred; if not, training within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Review Affordable Housing resident files for eligibility and compliance with laws.
• Assess files based on applicant information; complete reviews within 24 hours.
• Adhere to policies and procedures in the personnel manual.
• Monitor LIHTC regulation changes and implement updates.
• Attend TDHCA trainings annually; achieve HCCP designation within 2 years.
• Participate in all tax credit reviews by outside entities.
• Travel approximately 50% of work time for properties, conferences, or training.
