Job summary

National Equity Fund, Inc. seeks an Asset Operations Analyst in Chicago, IL to support post-closing equity disbursements. You will review requests, confirm documentation, and move disbursements through approval workflows under guidance from the Senior Asset Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include maintaining SMT dates and project data, coordinating with Asset Management, Fund Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Project Management, and ensuring accurate records for reporting and audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate finance, economics, business, accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of asset management/real estate experience; LIHTC experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills for tracking large financial and project data.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support post-closing equity disbursement; review requests and documentation.
• Maintain SMT dates, payment milestones, and key project data points.
• Coordinate with Asset Management, Fund Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and Project Management.
• Backfill and clean-up SMT data; assist with audit documentation.
• Track documentation, approvals, and payment status through workflows.
