Job summary

Van Meter Inc. is seeking a Lighting Quotations Specialist to support the lighting team and customers. You will create lighting bills of material from blueprints, assist with product selection on design-build projects, and negotiate pricing with manufacturers and customers to deliver accurate quotations.

The role emphasizes customer relationships, timely quotes, and collaboration with the outside sales team to support project opportunities and company culture.

Qualifications

• A college degree is preferred with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe is essential.
• Knowledge of lighting products and distribution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare take-offs for lighting BOMs from blueprints/specifications.
• Assist customers with lighting product selection and application.
• Negotiate pricing with lighting manufacturers and customers.
• Prepare submittals for approval and O&M manuals using Adobe.
• Provide lead-times for quotations and assist with customer service.
