Job summary

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking a Lighting Quotations Specialist who will quote lighting material from plans and specifications on construction projects. You will also build lighting Bills of Material and work with customers on design-build projects.

Interact with contractors, architects, engineers and owners to suggest lighting products, negotiate pricing, and provide technical lighting expertise within the branch.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Two-year trade school or four-year college degree recommended.
• Experience in lighting products and bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Quote lighting materials from plans and specs on construction projects.
• Build lighting Bills of Material from plan/specifications.
• Suggest lighting products to customers on design-build projects.
• Interact with contractors, architects, engineers and owners to advise on products.
• Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and customers.
• Provide technical lighting expertise within the branch.
• Collect and analyze quotations data by product type, manufacturer, bid amount and customer.
