Job summary

Power Design, Inc. in Gibsonton, FL is seeking a Lighting Project Manager to partner with electrical project managers for selection, procurement, and distribution of lighting fixtures on construction projects.

You will work directly with customers to select products, research vendors, negotiate pricing, and manage timely distribution while coordinating lighting resources to hit milestones and maintain excellent documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the lighting supply chain process or similar construction distribution experience.
• General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design, distribution and construction processes.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail oriented and efficient.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with electrical project managers and customers on product selection.
• Research, negotiate and procure lighting vendors and materials using cost and quality comparisons.
• Directly manage the distribution process of the selected product cost-effectively and timely.
• Plan and schedule lighting resources to meet project milestones.
• Manage project-related correspondence and documents.
